Geneologies
A personal edition exclusively for the Kay family, this genealogy is an edited and annotated version of a family heirloom: the typed manuscript of a distant cousin and family historian, George Senac Rapier, who shares a common branch of our tree. This book follows my father's paternal grandmother's line (the Desforges) through five centuries. It is one-eighth of the bloodstory of R Kay. Contact the author for a copy.
Canoe Paddle Guide
The Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program explores all the waters of Southern Louisiana that lie between the Mississippi and Atchafalaya Rivers. BTNEP is a publicly funded entity which advocates for the well being of the estuary, and they hired R Kay to write a 15-route paddle guide in the style of an explorer's journal, complete with handpainted watercolor maps, pencil drawings, field notes, and an analog algorithm.
